Yesterday, two teams from HRC Touch joined the Touch ‘n Tulips Tournament in Amsterdam. It was a successful day with great weather and the support of our amazing fans!
The HRC Killa Bees, led by Captain Hester and Co-Captains Anri & Claudine, made some great improvements during the tournament, which resulted in a Drop Offs against Amsterdam Westerpark. Our Killa Bees took the win by scoring twice (!!) during the Drop Offs and finished the tournament with a great win against Amsterdam Westerpark!
HRC Fluffy Dragons took the bronze prize home after successfully winning all their poule games and the Quarter Final. Unfortunately, they had to make way for the final against Amsterdam, who beat the Fluffies 2-4 in the semi’s. However, the strong Amsterdam team was also the one to finish the tournament with a win against Utrecht (URC): 7-3
Huge thanks to Melissa Lear (carousel photo’s) and Theo Beentjes (photo on to of the article) for allowing us to use their pictures on the HRC website
A big shout-out to both HRC teams who can look back at a great tournament and new experiences to bring into the future!
Also, another shout-out to one of our HRC Touch players who got his Level 2 Referee Badge! Congrats, Vincent Westerhof, on this great achievement!
See you all soon at training! 💪🏾
