Last week we announced the Ladies Touch Tournament 4 vs 4 (on Sunday the 9th of June, kicking off at 13.00 hours) with its nobel charity cause (Leger des Heils Salvation Army – fight with us! (legerdesheils.nl) for the protection of women and children) (see this article) and we are happy to now share the program with you:
- 13:15 Captain talk with referees
- 13:30 Games start on 2 pitches – 2×10 minutes per game. Number of games will depend on the number teams. It will end as soon as all teams have played at least 1 game against each other.
- 16:00 Mixed (women, men, children) discovery workshop to touch rugby.
- 17:30 End of tournament and BBQ will start sizzling… 🤤🤤🤤 – music and bar will accompany the food.
Next to the Ladies Tournament we are happy and proud to inform you that our HRC Touch team won the national championship! What great way start the merger with HRC!
This success is likely to bring on more wins and titles. However some of the next level games require funding.
- Several (male) HRC players hope to compete in the Touch Rugby World Cup. To cover costs a fundraiser has been initiated. Your donation to help out the newest branch of the HRC family will be much appreciated.
