Just in time – with reference to appendix 9 artikel 1 VWW – we are proud and happy to introduce to you the final addition to our squad: Fiu Gibson.
Fiu plays on the tight- as well as the looshead prop position and his former clubs were Wests Rugby Club ACT and Randwick Rugby, both in Australia.
Fiu is no “Aussi” though, he is Rotuman/Fijian. And for those of you who do not know all places on earth by hart: Rotuma is a Polynesian island paradise in Fiji, volcanic and about 13 kilometers long. So with fall suddenly kicking in over here, let’s all make sure Fiu – in spite of the weather – from start on feels right at home at HRC. He certainly is looking forward to meeting you all: the main reason he gave for coming all the way to HRC was “To me this is a great opportunity to play more rugby in a different environment and to meet new people“
