HRC Touch preparing for an another year of National Touch Training.

Last weekend of 1 and 2 February 2025 several players from HRC Touch joined the Open Training of Touch Nederland to train for a spot in the National Team.

This coming summer there will be Open Euro Cups organised for the Seniors (in Scotland) and Open Division (in Italy) where The Netherlands wants to send several teams to participate and practice prior to the Euros next year in Vichy.

Besides the Euros, the campaign of Touch Nederland is bright and already looking for the Touch World Cup 2028 in New Zealand!

This weekend the training was attended on both days by around 40 players from different clubs trying out for the Dutch Squad.

From HRC Touch there were several players attending the training: Anri McNally, Armance Toeset, Bhaas Raumatar, Bradley Bonafacio, Jon MacDonald, Joran van der Zwet, Josh Hansen, Justin Wanga, Lina Boutaleb, Lydia van Deursen, Samir Boutaleb, Sander Apperloo, and Vincent Westerhof.

It was a good way to welcome the new players and receive good guidance from the coaches and experienced players to step up their level and skills.

The vibes were good and progress was made quickly which resulted in an enjoyable training session with focus on the basic skills and being dominant in the ruck. And playing games against each other with great intensity pushing ourselves to a higher level.
