Last Saturday on a sunny afternoon in the Hague, Colts 2 faced the challenge of a very physical Castricum/Alkmaar combination team in the Bowl final.
It was clear from the start that the visitors had a simple but effective game plan. Short ball from 9 to a pod of very large forwards. HRC defended well under the screams of ‘FIRE’ from their excitable coach Bosco.
The lead changed hands in the first half before HRC ran out winners when the Castricum/Alkmaar forwards ran out of steam.
A great game played with respect and sportsmanship. Well done both teams.
